Charity Golf Day
This popular event has been organised in April or May every year since 2004. Your participation enables us to raise funds for the many varied local projects and international charities which Woolsack supports.
The Woolsack Charity Golf Day is an ideal opportunity for Golfers to play at the West Surrey Golf Club, one of the finest golf courses in the South of England. After the round of golf, team members can relax in the comfortable lounge and enjoy the Bar facilities and cuisine of the Club.
The Golf Day offers a golden opportunity for Business Organisations in Godalming and surrounding areas to treat Clients or Customers to a day of golf and entertainment. As the day is organised and managed by Godalming Woolsack, hosts are free to spend valuable time with their corporate guests. The number of teams which may be entered is limited only by the capacity of the course.
The fee paid by teams covers only the direct costs to Woolsack and represents good value for a golf day as it includes a meal. Players will be invited to participate in some of the fun competitions, the Raffle, and Silent Auctions. There may also be an opportunity to bid for games of golf when these are offered by local Golf Clubs.
We are keen to find Hole Sponsors to help cover the costs of our Charity Golf Day. The Club can install Sponsor’s advertising material on any one of the holes and will collect and return all signs etc. which are displayed on the day. Sponsors will be acknowledged by Woolsack with hyperlinks via this Website.
The 2009 Charity Golf Day
The 2009 Charity Golf ay will be held on Friday 1st May 2009 and an Application Form will be posted online when a price has been negotiated with the West Surrey Golf Club.
